Mass graves search halted in Tulsa: 'This is not the location we are looking for'
TULSA — The search for burials from Tulsa’s 1921 Race Massacre was suspended Wednesday morning after researchers ruled out the current test excavation as a possible site. “Unfortunately, things did not transpire the way that we hoped they would,” said Kary Stackelbeck, state archaeologist. “We are able to confirm this is not the location we are looking for.” The spot on the west side of the cemetery was identified by a combination of geophysical and historical research. The test excavation was conducted over more than a week; however, it was concluded no burials of any kind occurred on the site. Stackelbeck and Mayor G.T. Bynum indicated further testing in Oaklawn Cemetery is likely, probably this

China and Arunachal Pradesh: Time to Understand the History
I have always believed that with having obtained by hook or crook just about all they wanted in Ladakh, the real prize the Chinese are eyeing is Arunachal Pradesh. The Chinese have never been quite explicit on how much of Arunachal they seek. I once saw an official map displayed in a travel agents office in Lhasa that showed only the Tawang tract as Chinese territory. In other maps I have seen in China they have their border running along the foothills, which means all of Arunachal or what they now call ‘lower Tibet’. The Chinese have based their specific claim on the territory on the premise that Tawang was administered from Lhasa, and the contiguous areas owed allegiance to the Dalai Lama.

The Lincoln Project savagely reminds America of everything it has lost due to 'Trump's virus'
Amid all the fights over wearing masks, keeping a safe distance apart, and opening businesses and schools, Americans presumably agree on at least one thing: COVID-19 has been terrible — socially, economically, in thousands of little ways, dozens of big ones. That's the starting point for a new Lincoln Project ad released Tuesday, capitalizing on President Trump's dismal approval ratings on his handling of the coronavirus pandemic and making that personal. The ad starts with some "memories COVID took from us," things like birthday parties for children, weddings, first kisses, communal prayer, high school football, being with elderly parents as they die. "COVID has robbed America of so much," the narrator says. "None of this had to happen. We have suffered needlessly because Trump is a fool, a liar, and a failure. Most countries stopped it. Trump refused. It's Trump's virus now." The ad ends with what the anti-Trump Republicans behind the PAC see as the stakes in November: "It truly is a choice: America or Trump."…
