Mikel Arteta has made a remarkable change at Arsenal ahead of their match against Sheffield United. Despite not having a top-notch striker, Arteta has turned the Gunners into the Premier League's highest-scoring team - a stark contrast to the issues they faced just two years ago.

The team has been on a roll recently and is aiming for a strong win against Sheffield United on Monday. Earlier this season, Arsenal struggled to score goals, leading to suggestions that they should buy a new striker in the summer. But things have gotten much better lately, with Arsenal netting a total of 25 goals in their last six Premier League matches.

Two years ago, the Gunners went through a rough patch mid-season, failing to score in seven consecutive halves of football. Now, they're scoring at least twice in their last seven halves in the Premier League.

Arsenal are the first team to accomplish this in the history of the division, showing how well they've been playing over the past few months. They've won their last six matches in the Premier League, which has kept them in the title race, just two points behind leaders Liverpool.

Arteta is happy that his team's goals are coming from all over the pitch, with defenders, midfielders and forwards all helping out. After the 4-1 win over Newcastle last weekend, he was asked about Arsenal's form.

"The team is hitting form, we are in a good moment, the players individually are performing," said Arteta. "It's not any secret things are flowing at the moment. We are scoring goals in various ways and we want more. We score one and we want to go for the second and third and the fourth one and I love that mentality from the team.

"We have to do that, because we won a lot of games last year, and this year when we deserved more and we generated more, I think today it could've been much more as well, but we have to demand ourselves that. We train every day in the best possible way, look after ourselves and, first of all, believe that you can do it."

Arsenal will be hoping to keep the goals flowing over the next few weeks, with some big games coming up. They'll be trying to beat Sheffield United on Monday before playing Brentford, Porto, Chelsea and Manchester City in the coming weeks.
