Tottenham predicted team vs Crystal Palace as Postecoglou selects Richarlison replacement
Here's the Tottenham Hotspur team we reckon Ange Postecoglou will choose to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday
by Alasdair Gold · football.londonAnge Postecoglou has some selection decisions to make with Tottenham back in action on Saturday afternoon against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
After a two-week break for Postecoglou to work with his team following the disappointing defeat to Wolves in the Premier League, he will take on Oliver Glasner, fresh from his debut victory in the dugout with Palace, and his team at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday.
Left-back Destiny Udogie is back in training which is a major boost to the way Postecoglou's team plays, although Postecoglou said that Pedro Porro is still a week away from recovering from his hamstring injury. Up front, Richarlison picked up a knee injury against Wolves which will keep him out until after the international break. Postecoglou could well play captain Son Heung-min through the middle which would then see Timo Werner and Brennan Johnson battle it out to come into the team on the left of the front three.
The Tottenham boss must also decide who plays in the anchor man role in the midfield with Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur fighting for that spot in the centre of the park between Pape Matar Sarr and James Maddison, who are perhaps more likely to keep their spots with the attacking edge they bring.
Here's the Spurs team we reckon Postecoglou will select to face Crystal Palace this weekend:
