Here are the latest Newcastle United transfer rumours.

Serhou Guirassy 'wants' Premier League move

Stuttgart's star striker Serhou Guirassy, is reportedly eyeing a move to the Premier League in the January transfer window, says German news source Kicker.

The 27 year old has been turning heads with his impressive performance this season, netting 19 goals in just 16 matches. With a release clause of £15.2m in his contract that can be activated in January, he's certainly caught the attention of big clubs.

However, his expected participation in the Africa Cup of Nations with Guinea could pose a challenge. Newcastle United, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all reportedly interested in signing a new striker in January.

Kalvin Phillips

Newcastle United are gearing up to chase Kalvin Phillips before the January transfer window opens. The Telegraph reports that they're 'confident' of securing a loan deal for the Manchester City midfielder, who hasn't seen much action under Pep Guardiola.

Due to financial fair play rules, the Magpies can't go for a full transfer at the moment. A loan could work out well for everyone, as Phillips hasn't started a Premier League match this season and has only come off the bench four times in league games. However, as Lee Ryder reported yesterday, a loan fee will cost Newcastle around £7.5m.
