Erol Bulut issues major Cardiff City transfer update as signings imminent
The Cardiff boss is hoping his side will be able to strengthen this week
by Tom Coleman · Wales OnlineCardiff City boss Erol Bulut is hoping the club will be able to complete at least two deals this week, and says negotiations with players are already under way.
However, he admits even more new faces will be needed ahead the upcoming Championship campaign, which begins with the visit of Sunderland on August 10.
The players have already been put through the paces during pre-season training, with City set to commence their schedule of summer friendlies by taking on Kidderminster Harriers on Wednesday night.

Bulut says he's happy with what he's seen so far, but admits a new signing or two could go some way to taking the positive mood up a notch in the coming weeks.
"The atmosphere is good," he told Cardiff City TV over the weekend. "I think it will be much, much better when new players come in.
"I hope it's going to happen soon next week. We are negotiating with a few players. I hope we can get it done next week. Two or three players. We are negotiating right now.

"But with two or three, we won't be finished. So we have to add a few players, I've always said, to where we had our issues last season.
"We analyse it on those positions we have to get players in. The board is working hard. All season will be hard. It's important we never forget our targets this season."
Cardiff could well see an outgoing this week, with Newport County understood to be in advanced talks over a move for midfielder Cameron Antwi.
