Chargers vs. Raiders ‘Thursday Night Football’  NFL DFS picks on PrizePicks: Davante Adams, Khalil Mack

· New York Post

Two NFL teams having miserable seasons will clash in an AFC West battle on “Thursday Night Football” as the Justin Herbert-less Chargers battle the Raiders in Las Vegas.

In addition to Herbert’s absence, there are plenty of other injuries worth monitoring leading up to this game.

Here are some of the best PrizePicks plays for Thursday night:

Davante Adams more than 69.5 receiving yards

Herbert and Keenan Allen being ruled out is a big sting for the Chargers’ offense.

I’m anticipating a few more three-and-outs, which should result in some extra opportunities for the Las Vegas offense.

Adams hasn’t exactly been crushing it with Aidan O’Connell at the helm, but the advanced numbers are still elite. In full games Adams has played with the rookie quarterback, he owns a 51% air-yard share with a 30% target share.

The Chargers are terrible on defense. They’re yielding the fifth-most yards after catch per reception and the sixth-highest yards per target.

Adams has received double-digit targets in three of his last four games, and I wouldn’t be shocked if that trend resurfaced again Thursday night.

Daniel Carlson more than 6.5 kicking points

Despite having mega talent, this Chargers’ defense is other-worldly bad again this season. It’s a tale as old as time.

While an O’Connell-led Raiders offense doesn’t exactly scratch the itch, Las Vegas having Adams and (hopefully) Josh Jacobs make a few plays should be good enough to at least get across the opposing 40-yard line a few times.

Betting on the NFL?

The Raiders have scored touchdowns on just 45% of their trips to the red zone, and the Chargers’ red-zone touchdown defense ranks about league average.

The “kicker” (ha-ha) here is that without Herbert and with an inefficient offense that has had trouble closing drives, L.A. might struggle to sustain drives and flip field position, which could lead Carlson to a few more attempts than he usually gets.

It feels like a perfect combination of variables to net seven kicking points.

Khalil Mack more than 0.75 sacks

This feels like a trap, but it’s too good to pass up.

In six full starts this season, O’Connell has taken a massive 17 sacks.

And in the last meeting between these teams, Mack had a whopping six sacks against this same Raiders offensive line.

History doesn’t always repeat itself, but I’ll take my chances that Mack will add onto his 15-sack total in Thursday night’s game.
