Snow doesn’t stop Bills Mafia from jumping through flaming table before playoff game

· New York Post

It doesn’t matter how cold it gets or how much it snows: Bills Mafia will not be stopped.

Fans jumping through flaming tables during tailgates is nothing new in Orchard Park, and the weather didn’t deter a group of Bills fans from jumping through a table that was lit on fire Monday afternoon before the Bills’ playoff game against the Steelers.

One X user posted video of three fans jumping off a large mound of snow through the table as onlookers cheered them on.

The Bills vs. Steelers game was originally scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m., but on Saturday the game was postponed to Monday at 4:30 p.m. due to the snowstorm that pummeled Western New York over the weekend.

Snow at Highmark Stadium piled up so much that the Bills were offering people $20 an hour to help shovel out the snow.

People who were able to walk to the stadium began shoveling efforts on Sunday; shifts were originally set to begin Saturday night but were delayed.

A travel ban remained in place in the area Sunday afternoon, preventing fans from driving to the stadium.

While the field is looking in good shape, snow still covered most of the seats at the stadium as kickoff approached Monday, with fans using various methods to clear it.

This is not the first time Bills fans have plunged through flames; the ritual of sorts goes back at least several years.

Should the Bills win, they will host the Chiefs in the divisional round on Sunday; if the Steelers win, they’ll visit the Ravens on Sunday while the Chiefs will host the Texans on Saturday.
