Lotto players are being urged to check their tickets to see if they have won a five-figure sum in Wednesday night's draw

Two Lotto players are enjoying a great start to 2024 after they shared a five-figure sum in Wednesday night's Lotto draw.

While there were no winners of the massive Lotto jackpot worth €12,015,337, more than 91,000 players did bag prizes from Wednesday's Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, including two winners of the Lotto Match 5+ Bonus prize worth €54,583.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday 3rd January draw were: 02, 08, 12, 26, 44, 45 and the bonus ball was 24.

There was no winner of the €1million Lotto Plus draw either. The winning numbers drawn were 01, 12, 20, 22, 37, 45 and the bonus ball was 23.

There was no winner of the €250,000 million Lotto Plus 2 draw either. The winning numbers drawn were 01, 11, 12, 14, 15, 24 and the bonus ball was 22.

The latest draw comes after Lotto players from Dublin were urged to check their tickets as one lucky punter has not yet claimed the €1,000,500 jackpot won in the Lotto Plus Raffle on December 23.

The special draw held on Christmas Eve Eve saw one player win the staggering prize in the once-off draw.

What has been said

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “A Lotto player in North County Dublin currently has a ticket from the December 23 draw worth over €1 million which they are yet to make contact about. We are advising all of our players who purchased a ticket in the Lusk area for that particular draw to carefully check their old tickets as soon as possible."

What happens next

The winners of the €54,583 prize are advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe. They should contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize in Lotto HQ.

With Saturday’s jackpot now set to hurtle towards an estimated €12.5 million, the National Lottery have reminded players dreaming of winning big this weekend that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales on Saturday evening.
