Victor Osimhen's future at Napoli continues to be topic of discussion amid links to the Premier League.

The striker continues to be linked with a move away from Italy with Napoli understood to have agreed to allow Osimhen to leave the club this summer. He is on the radar of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been admirers of Osimhen but his £110million (€130m) release clause has proved to be too high for clubs, with no move close to happening yet. Although Chelsea are believed to have held discussions about a possible swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku, those negotiations fell through.

Speaking during a press-conference, new manager Antonio Conte addressed the future of Osimhen, saying: "I know what the situation is regarding Osimhen. I know that there are agreements, that it is a situation different from all the others. I can only assist.

"He is a player of the highest level, exceptional, but I cannot enter into any discussion because it is part of previous agreements which have been clearly stated to me."

Football Italia now claims that Osimhen is expected to join Napoli for pre-season next week despite uncertainty over his future and Napoli yet to receive any bids for him.

Previously speaking about the transfer rumours, Osimhen said: "The rumour is going around about me linked with the Premier League. Of course, when you’re one of the hottest strikers in the world you expect this type of thing, it’s one of the biggest and best leagues in the world.

"For me, I’m with Napoli, signed a new contract and enjoying my time there with the team, at the end of the season I’ve already made up my mind, I already know what I want to do in my career. Since I’ve started, I’ve been the one making my own decisions on everything and it’s working out well for me. I already know the next step I want to take."

Arsenal meanwhile, are considering Viktor Gyokeres as a potential candidate to reinforce their attack. The Sweden international is a player whom the Gunners have both watched and analysed during last season.

However, Sporting Clube de Portugal have little interest in allowing Gyokeres to leave and will demand the £86m (€100m) release clause in his contract.
