Christopher Nkunku sends ten-word Chelsea message after huge Europe boost
Chelsea produced a brilliant comeback to defeat Nottingham Forest 3-2 at the City Ground to strengthen their chances of an unlikely Europa League finish
by Bruna Reis · football.londonChristopher Nkunku has taken to social media following Chelsea's 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest.
The Blues produced an incredible turnaround late at the City Ground to claim their third consecutive win. Despite early pressure from the hosts, it was Mykhailo Mudryk who scored the opening goal in the eighth minute.
However, their lead didn't last long as Willy Boly capitalised after being left unmarked with so much space in the Chelsea box. He headed past Djordje Petrovic.
Forest took the lead through Callum Hudson-Odoi who scored against his former club shortly after hitting the woodwork. Although that looked like it was going to be the winning goal, substitute Raheem Sterling produced a moment of magic to put matters level.
Reece James then made his return from injury one to remember by providing a brilliant assist for Nicolas Jackson, who headed in at the back post. Nkunku meanwhile, continued his comeback from injury and played a total of 32 minutes after coming on in the second half for Noni Madueke.
Taking to Instagram after the game, Nkunku marked the victory with a celebratory post to his story. He posted two pictures of himself during the game with the caption: "Big away W. Thank you guys for the big support today," followed by a blue heart emoji.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Mauricio Pochettino said: "It was a difficult game, it's always tough against a team who are doing a fantastic season. Today for them was a party because they started the game being sure they would be in the Premier League next year.
"We started controlling the game but conceded in a way we should never concede. The second half was tough but I think it's an important victory for us. The most important thing is the three points but we didn't really replicate the performance from previous games against Tottenham and West Ham.
"If you remember Sheffield United and Burnley, we have struggled against this type of team. I think today the players that came off the bench had a real impact."
On whether the Blues can still secure a place in Europe, he added: "I hope yes, but there are still two big games."
Chelsea stand with a chance of qualifying for the Europa League, ahead of facing Brighton & Hove Albion and Bournemouth in their final games.
