Chelsea return to Premier League action this afternoon with a clash against Everton at Goodison Park. Form for Mauricio Pochettino's side has been mixed over the last couple of weeks with a fully deserved defeat to Manchester United coming earlier in the week.

The Blues' weekend opponents were hit with a 10-point deduction in November that placed them in the relegation zone, however they have already escaped the bottom three. With that in mind, Everton head coach Sean Dyche has appeared to send a subtle FFP jibe at Chelsea given the financial scrutiny they are under.

A disciplinary problem has been present in west London this season with two Chelsea stars at risk of missing the following weekend's game against Sheffield United and now a new suspension worry has emerged for Pochettino.

Here are your Chelsea morning headlines on Sunday, December 10.

Dyche aims FFP jibe

Sean Dyche has delivered a Chelsea verdict ahead of his Everton facing them at Goodison Park in Premier League action this Sunday. The Toffees were docked 10 points in November for breaching Profit and Sustainability Rules which placed them in the relegation zone.

In his pre-match press conference on Friday, Dyche was asked for his thoughts on the fact Everton would be above Chelsea in the Premier League table, if not for the points deduction with his answer, while not controversial, seeming to be a subtle jibe at Chelsea.

New Chelsea suspension worry

Levi Colwill could be handed a one-match suspension to serve in the coming weeks following his comments after Chelsea's defeat to Manchester United.

The Blues defender thought he was penalised for a handball in the final stages of the clash against Brighton, before it was ultimately overturned by VAR. In the following clash, Colwill felt as though he was fouled by Scott McTominay in the lead up to his second goal and he made his thoughts very clear after the game.

Keane delivers brutal Chelsea verdict

Roy Keane has admitted one Chelsea star is still not good enough to start for England at Euro 2024. Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher and Levi Colwill are the players on the fringes of Gareth Southgate's squad ahead of the tournament with all four vying for place on next summer's plane to Germany.

Despite being the player used by Southgate the most, Sterling has not featured in the last few squads because of injury and mixed form. Gallagher was handed his first senior cap two years ago with Palmer and Colwill each handed their Three Lions bow this year.

And now Keane has revealed the Chelsea player of those four he thinks should not be starting in Southgate's starting XI.
