EPL: Man Utd midfielder leaves Ten Hag’s side ahead of Liverpool clash
by Don Silas · Daily PostManchester United on Wednesday confirmed that midfielder, Hannibal Mejbri has left the club to join Championship side Burnley on a permanent transfer.
The Red Devils disclosed this in a statement on their website ahead of their Premier League clash with Liverpool this weekend.
“Hannibal has completed a permanent transfer from Manchester United to Championship side Burnley,” Man United’s statement partly read.
“We wish you the best of luck with your next steps, Hannibal!”
Mejbri spent five years at Man United after joining the club’s youth system from Monaco in 2019.
The 21-year-old Tunisia international has since gone on to make 13 first-team appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side.
