Aberdeen FC ultras want Barry Robson OUT and tell him why it's time to go in front door Pittodrie protest
The Dons sit an eye-watering 19 points behind the Jambos in third and few within a downbeat fanbase have hope left.
by Graeme Young, https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/authors/graeme-young/ · Daily RecordHet-up Aberdeen ultras have called for beleaguered Barry Robson to be removed from his job in the wake of their side's crushing 2-0 defeat to Hearts.
The Dons sit an eye-watering 19 points behind third-placed Jambos and few within a downbeat fanbase believe they can make inroads despite retaining three games in hand. Robson felt the heat of an irate fanbase as a large section of travelling supporters at Tynecastle told him to "get to f***" after yet another mishap leaves automatic European group stage football out the window. Robson put on a bullish front but the pressure is rising ahead of Dundee's visit to Pittodrie on Tuesday night before they host champions Celtic on Sunday.
Aberdeen remain in the bottom half and sit only five points clear of 11th-placed Ross County with over the half the season played. And now the club's ultras are demanding instant change from Dave Cormack and the Pittodrie board with only six league wins in 20 games this season.
They stated: "This is not something we want to be doing, but this can't be allowed to go on. With the resources that have been made available to the manager this season, it is clear he is not of the standard required for this club. Invest in a manager like you have invested in the squad.
"While we hope a change is made immediately, nevertheless we encourage all supporters to continue to support the players on the pitch."
