Motherwell midfielder Callum Slattery ruled out for season
The 24-year-old suffered an injury in training and will play no further part in the 2023/24 campaign

The 24-year-old picked up the injury in a training sesssion last week and he will play no further part in the Premiership campiagn, as the Steelmen seek to claw themselves away from relegation danger at the foot of the table.
It is a huge blow for boss Stuart Kettlewell ahead of the club's return to competitive action this weekend following the winter break.
And he said: "First off, I want to wish Callum the very best in his recovery.
“Losing him is a massive blow for the team and the nature he has picked up this injury only makes the situation worse for the player.
“We’ve not had our problems to seek with regards to injuries this season and this is another hurdle we have to deal with.
“Callum will now begin his recovery and the staff here will look after him every step of the way and I have no doubts, with the Callum’s attitude and strong mentality, he will come back stronger and ready to go.”
Motherwell host League One Alloa Athletic in teh fourth round of the Scottish Cup on Saturday and return to league action the following week away to St Johnstone.
