by · NottinghamshireLive

Nottingham Forest have a break from Premier League action today as they play their first game of 2024.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men take on League One side Blackpool in the third round of the FA Cup. It’s a repeat of the clash that saw Forest fall out of the competition last season, except this time Forest are at home.

The game will be Nuno’s fourth match in charge of Forest, having won his last two, and could give the new head coach a chance to look at some other members of his squad, with changes in the early rounds commonplace in the competition.
