Conor McGregor UFC future remains in doubt as public have their say
McGregor has not fought in over three years and is is feared his fighting days are over.

The Dubliner has not fought in the UFC since July of 2021 and his summer bout against Michael Chandler was cancelled due to injury.
Ever since his sharp rise in the UFC, McGregor's schedule has been erratic. He took a two-year break before returning in 2018 and then did not fight again until January 2020.

Covid disrupted plans of a busy schedule before returning to fight twice in 2021.
McGregor's return was announced at the beginning of 2023 but it took over a year for a fight against Chandler to be confirmed. However, McGregor withdrew through injury while Michael Chandler has moved on to fight Charles Oliveira.
And many punters are backing McGregor to retire from the sports with bookmaker BoyleSports releasing odds.
McGregor is now 9/4 to fight in 2025 while the odds that he will fight are 2/7.
Brian O’Keeffe, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said: “Dana White seems certain that the Notorious will fight under the UFC umbrella again, but it’s déjà vu for punters who are backing McGregor to announce his retirement for a fourth time.”
McGregor has also been priced at 20/1 to become the next Irish while current Tanaiste Micheal Martin is favourite for the role.
