A soaking wet pitch at the RAMS Arena in Turkey has put Manchester United’s game with Galatasaray in doubt.

Images show that heavy rain has caused huge wet patches around the pitch as officials have reportedly begun to inspect the pitch.

The game is currently still on but could be called off before the 5.45 kick-off if deemed unsafe.

UEFA has reported that the game will go ahead but things could change if the officials aren’t happy with the conditions of the pitch.

United manager Erik ten Hag said leading up to the game: “We know we can (win away in Europe) and we are confident.

“The last games away from home in the league were also very hostile environments. We played very well. We were very calm and composed.

“This team also last year in Barcelona (in the Europa League did well), so we know how to deal with it and I’m sure it will be tomorrow a confident team on the pitch.”
