Why is Newcastle United vs Manchester United kicking off at 8pm, TV, live stream and how to watch
The Magpies are back in Premier League action this weekend against Manchester United
by Matty Hewitt · ChronicleLiveNewcastle United are back in Premier League action this weekend as they welcome Manchester United to St. James' Park. The Magpies know a win over the Red Devils would see them leapfrog their top-four rivals and they could move as high as fifth if results go their way.
Eddie Howe's side will be looking to put their disappointment behind them from their Champions League clash with PSG - where a late Kylian Mbappe penalty ensured a share of the spoils, rather than three huge points.
Newcastle kick-off at St. James' Park at the unusual time of 8pm on Saturday evening, a decision made as a result of both team's participation in the Champions League. Their Champions League participation meant they were unable to play in the usual televised spot of 12.30pm, allowing both teams a fair chance of recovery - although the Magpies have an extra day under their belt given they played on Tuesday night, with Manchester United taking on Galatasaray on Wednesday.
