Out from the postseason in 2023, the Dallas Mavericks are now enjoying their flashy backcourt duo, who combined for 58 points in the decisive Game 6 at home against the Los Angeles Clippers, winning the encounter 114-101 and closing the series 4-2.

Luka Doncic ended the encounter with a double-double of 28 points and 13 assists, despite shooting 9/26 from the field and 1/10 from three. Touching on his poor shooting performance, the former EuroLeague MVP gave a rapid explanation in the post-game flash interview. “Terrible, man. I need some rest”, he commented.

Kyrie Irving, instead, dropped 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in the win, shooting 11/19 from the field and 5/9 from deep. “We’re pushing each other off the court to be better, and then when we get on the court it’s just like synchronicity. It feels good”, the 2016 NBA Champion commented.

For the Los Angeles Clippers, who didn’t advance to face the 1st-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Semi-Finals, Ivica Zubac concluded this year’s NBA Playoffs with a losing effort of 17 points and 11 rebounds.
