Several M4 closures announced this week as drivers are warned ahead of festive season

by Ryan O'Neill · Wales OnlineA number of road closures have been announced for the coming week. Drivers are being warned to expect some delays due to works planned to take place along parts of the M4.
Motorists are reminded to allow extra time for their journeys and to avoid rushing, as many of the closures take place at night or in the morning. All the M4 closures in Wales:
- The M4 westbound slip road at junction 23A Magor will be closed for maintenance work until 6am on December 4
- The M4 westbound at junction 48 Hendy slip road will be shut for maintenance work between 7pm and 10am every day from December 1 to December 4
- The M4 eastbound at junction 26 Malpas slip road will be closed due to maintenance work between 8pm on December 3 and 6am on December 4
- The M4 westbound slip roads between junction 35 Pencoed and junction 34 Miskin will be closed from 8pm to 6am from December 3 to December 8
- The M4 eastbound entry and exit slip roads at junction 44 Lon Las will be closed due to environmental work between 8pm and 6am from December 3 to December 8
All the M4 closures in England:
- The M4 eastbound at junction 11 will be closed due to roadworks between 8pm and 6am from December 4 and December 6
- The M4 eastbound at junction 13 will be closed due to roadworks between 10pm and 5am from December 5 and December 8
