Mobvoi Cyber Xmas promo event with prizes including a PlayStation 5 goes live

Mobvoi's Cyber Xmas event is a lottery in which players can accumulate more entries in exchange for virtual tree decorations (dubbed "Xmas Balls" because of course they are) that can be collected by completing a number of brand website and social media participation challenges.

It requires a mobvoi.com login and lists a TicWatch Pro 5 as one of the prizes - not to mention a PlayStation 5 (depicted as a disk edition, although there is no outright guarantee of that), a $100 Amazon gift card and a wildly unspecified TV. The Cyber Xmas giveaway is live from now until December 24, 2023 on the OEM's EU and US websites. 

For those looking to provide more certain, tangible holiday beneficence, Mobvoi is also currently holding a "limited time" Merry Techmas sale with the flagship Pro 5 at $261.99, or 25% off its starting price.

That deal is not mirrored on Amazon, unfortunately, although the -40% offer on the newly Wear OS 3-eligible TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra is available (with a combination of a discount and coupon that brings the premium smartwatch's price down to $179.99) on that platform.

Alternatively, Amazon also now lists the TicWatch GTH Pro at just $29.99, or 70% off its "listed" price.
