Dell UltraSharp 38 U3824DW: Large curved monitor quietly lands in Europe and UK with a nine-port USB hub

Dell is now selling the UltraSharp 38 (U3824DW) globally, having presented the monitor last May. As noted by TFT Central, it seems that Dell released the monitor outside North America to little fanfare. Nonetheless, the company is offering the UltraSharp 38 (U3824DW) across the Eurozone and the UK.

To recap, Dell bases the UltraSharp 38 (U3824DW) around a 37.5-inch IPS panel marketed as supporting IPS Black technology. As such, the monitor provides comparatively strong contrast at a 2,000:1 dynamic ratio. Additionally, the panel covers 98% of the DCI-P3 and Display P3 colour spaces while maintaining 300 nits peak brightness.

Moreover, the UltraSharp 38 (U3824DW) outputs natively at 3,840 x 1,600 pixels with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms GtG response times. On top of that, the 21:9 monitor finds itself with a considerable USB hub that contains nine ports of varying standards. Furthermore, Dell has included three dedicated video outputs and a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet connection for providing wired internet access.

Originally, Dell priced the UltraSharp 38 (U3824DW) at $1,529.99 in the US. However, the monitor has since dropped to $1,149.99. By contrast, the monitor retails for £1,1620.80 in the UK and €1,303.05 in the Eurozone, both including taxes. Please see Dell's website for more product details.
