Honor Magic6 Pro revealed in one of five launch colours with 100x zoom and variable aperture camera capabilities

Honor is still keeping its fans in the dark over a precise release date for the Magic6 series. To recap, it has only outlined that it will unveil new smartphones and MagicOS 8.0 between January 10 and January 11 in China. However, the company has now published several marketing images of the Magic6 Pro in which several device specifications can also be seen.

Somewhat predictably, the Magic5 Pro successor will arrive with three rear-facing cameras that can deliver up to 100x digital zoom. Likely courtesy of its primary camera, the '100X' inscription is joined by '1:1.4/2.0-2.6 ASPH', which implies the presence of dual or variable aperture camera technology. According to @RODENT950, a recent patent suggests this could be a three-stop solution between f/1.4 and f/2.0 apertures rather than the more sophisticated alternative in the Xiaomi 14 Pro.

Additionally, while the Magic6 Pro retains its predecessor's twin front-facing set-up, Honor has opted for a centred placement this time around. Based on Digital Chat Station's sleuthing on Honor's website, the Magic6 Pro will launch in black, green, haihuqing, purple and white finishes with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB of storage options. Other details remain unconfirmed for now, although Honor is expected to equip the Magic6 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a Samsung ISOCELL-derived 200 MP sensor as its primary camera.
