Amazfit Cheetah Pro smartwatch gains new features in latest update

by · Notebookcheck

Amazfit has launched an update for the Cheetah Pro smartwatch. The new running model with built-in GPS was launched last June alongside two standard versions of the wearable with round and square watch faces. The previous update for the Cheetah smartwatches arrived in November with tools like running power metrics, training templates for track run mode, and a switch to control automatic headphone reconnection.

This latest software for the Cheetah Pro provides a range of new features and optimizations for the Pro device. Firstly, you can now view real-time directions for your route when doing various winter sports activities, including Skiing, Cross-country skiing and Snowboarding. Plus, real-time alerts based on your running performance can be added to the data page to make tracking how you are doing at a glance easier. As seen in the recent update for the T-Rex Ultra and Falcon smartwatches, the Track run distance data can now be viewed in either meters or yards.

Amazfit Cheetah Pro users can download the latest update in the Zepp app from the Profile section, selecting your smartwatch and choosing ‘Check for updates’. The company notes in its social media posts that owners of the Cheetah (Round) and Cheetah (Square) smartwatches can expect to receive the update shortly, though no exact date has been provided.
