It looks like more Call of Duty achievements are coming to the Call of Duty HQ launcher. Internet sleuths appear to have found that the upcoming Xbox first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is being treated as a DLC pack, much like Modern Warfare III.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 achievements could be tied to Call of Duty HQ via DLC pack

With the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III last year, Activision rolled out the Call of Duty HQ launcher, which acts as a hub for the latest COD titles. This change meant that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III were essentially treated as DLC packs for the HQ launcher instead of being standalone releases. This is a bit of a pain for achievement hunters as the achievements for both games are lumped into one package, taking away the 100% completion from players' Xbox profiles.

Sadly, it looks like Activision will do the same again and launch Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and its achievements as a DLC pack for Call of Duty HQ.

Call of Duty leaker Reality has found that Black Ops 6 on PC will be integrated into Call of Duty HQ. This was also confirmed by ModernWarzone on Twitter, who spotted that the Call of Duty HQ on Steam is the parent app for Black Ops 6.

Ever since this happened with the Modern Warfare III achievements, it's kind of been expected that any new COD titles will be merged into the HQ at launch. While it's yet to be officially confirmed on Xbox, it's certainly looking likely that the Black Ops 6 achievements will be a DLC pack for the HQ launcher, and the Call of Duty achievements will be worth 3,000G (or whatever Gamerscore Activision decides to give the game) when the new game finally arrives.

In other Black Ops 6 news, Microsoft recently confirmed that the first-person shooter will join Xbox Game Pass on day one.
