by Sunita · KalingaTVInfinix has launched a new Racing Edition of the Infinix Note 40 Pro and Infinix Note 40 Pro+ in India. The Infinix Note 40 series is designed in collaboration with BMW Designworks. It comes with tri-colour design, 108MP IS triple camera and is India’s first phone to have wireless magcharge. It feature an F1-inspired design and AI-voice activated Halo lighting at the rear.
Both smartphones are equipped with VC Cooling Technology 2.0 along with 11 layers of heat dissipation material that are claimed to offer improved thermal management on the handset.
Price, Availability
The Infinix Note 40 Pro comes 8GB+256GB RAM storage variant whose price is set at Rs 15,999. Meanwhile, the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ is offered in a 12GB+256GB storage model with a cost of Rs 18,999.
It is important to note that these prices are including banking offers. The sale of both the Infinix Note 40 Pro Racing Edition and Note 40 Pro+ Racing Edition will start via Flipkart starting from August 26.

Infinix offers similar specifications on both smartphones that are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. Both the smartphones come with a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ (1,080×2,436 pixels) curved LTPS AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,300 nits peak brightness.
On the optics front, both the devices feature a 108-megapixel primary sensor and two unspecified 2-megapixel sensors. At the front, both models carry a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies.
The Infinix Note 40 Pro Racing Edition packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Meanwhile, the Note 40 Pro+ Racing Edition is backed by a 4,600mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging. The battery supports 20W fast wireless magcahrge.
It runs on XOS 14 based on Android 14 and will get 2 years of software update and 36 months of security patches. Sensors on the phone include G-Sensor, E-Compass, Gyroscope, Proximity Sensor, Fingerprint Sensor, Infrared sensor. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
The handsets feature dual JBL-tuned speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. It has IP53 rating for splash, water and dust resistance.
