Oppo may soon launch the Reno 11 series in India. The smartphone series has already been launched in China but a noted tipster has revealed that the phones will arrive in India on January 10. Oppo has not shared any details about the India launch of the devices but has teased the design of the phone in the Malaysia website. The tipster had revealed that the phone will be launched in Malaysia, a day prior to the India launch, i.e January 11.
In a recent X (formerly Twitter) post, tipster Ishan Agarwal hinted at the forthcoming launch of the Oppo Reno 11 series both in India and globally, scheduled for January 11. Adding to the anticipation, Oppo Malaysia confirmed the series launch within the country on the same date. This announcement sets the stage for a potential teaser campaign by Oppo India in the upcoming week. Furthermore, the Oppo Malaysia website has unveiled crucial specifications and designs of the Reno 11 series.
Oppo Reno 11 series China specifications
The Oppo Reno 11 Pro, available in China, flaunts a sizable 6.7-inch OLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution (2772x1240p) and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. According to Oppo, this panel supports 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and can reach an impressive brightness of 1,600nits. Meanwhile, the Reno 11, also sporting a 6.7-inch OLED display, features a 1080p resolution with the same 120Hz refresh rate, but in this case, the panel reaches up to 950nits brightness.
Under the hood, the Reno 11 Pro packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, while the Reno 11 opts for the Dimensity 8200. The Pro version is equipped with a 4,700mAh battery and supports rapid 80W fast wired charging, whereas the standard Reno 11 comes with a slightly larger 4,800mAh battery and supports 67W fast wired charging. Both phones operate on Oppo’s latest ColorOS 14 software, based on Android 14.
When it comes to photography, the Oppo Reno 11 Pro (China model) showcases a powerful triple-camera setup on the rear. It highlights a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor accompanied by an f/1.8 aperture lens featuring optical stabilization. This setup is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and an additional 32-megapixel 2x telephoto lens. Similarly, the Reno 11 features a triple-camera setup on the rear led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 main sensor with optical stabilization behind an f/1.8 aperture lens. It shares the same configuration as the Pro version with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 32-megapixel 2x telephoto lens. Both phones are equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
