Vivo is scheduled to launch the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro smartphones in the global market tomorrow, i.e., December 14. This is exactly a month after the company launched the smartphones in the Chinese market on November 14, 2023. Notably, Vivo is yet to officially launch the smartphones in the Indian market, and that isn’t expected to happen until next month. Vivo has not revealed an official date as to when the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will launch in India, but reports suggest that it could happen by January 2024. And looking at the November 14 (China launch), and the December 14 (global launch) dates, it may not be the most outrageous thing to assume that the smartphones may launch in India on January 14, 2024.
Since the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro have already launched in China, we have a good idea about the specifications the smartphones will come with. As you would expect from a Vivo flagship smartphone, the highlight of the Vivo X100 series will also be cameras. In fact, Vivo has been hitting the ball out of the park with the cameras on the X-series smartphones, especially since the Vivo X70. We expect nothing less from the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro.
Vivo has also been teasing a new feature on the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro smartphones, which will apparently allow users to even capture the “radiance of sunlight during sunrise and sunset”. We think Vivo X90 could do that pretty well too, but let’s wait and see what the brand is going to do with the X100 series on this front.
Vivo X100 series: Specifications
