Realme recently announced that its new smartphone, the Realme GT 6T, will be arriving in the Indian markets on May 22. This marks the company’s return to the smartphone market after a two-year break. Coinciding with the brand's sixth anniversary, the GT 6T is targeting the mid-to-high end segment of the market and promises to deliver exceptional performance. The GT 6T will feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, a first for the Indian market. Realme also says that the phone comes with an antutu benchmark score of over 1.5 million. Ahead of the phone's launch, its price details have found their way to the internet.
In a recent post on X, reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) shared an image indicating that the upcoming Realme GT 6T could be priced at Rs. 31,999 in India. However, Yadav later raised doubts about the accuracy of this price information. He noted that there are instances where brands might circulate inflated price figures prior to the actual launch. Consequently, he advised his followers to consider this leaked price with some skepticism.
Meanwhile, Realme's official website also has a landing page for the Realme GT 6T. In the page, the price is an absurd Rs 99,999. A disclaimer says that the price is not final. Hence, this further confirms Yadav's doubts that the brand hasn't unveiled the official pricing and will do so only at the time of launch.
Talking about the leaked specs, the design of the Realme GT 6T is said to include a Premium Nano Mirror Design, adding to its aesthetic appeal and showcasing Realme’s commitment to blending style with substance. The phone is expected to be the rebranded version of the GT Neo 6. Hence, the features could be similar to the smartphone we are already familiar with.
In the front, the GT Neo 6 sports a large 6.78-inch Amoled display, with a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This screen promises vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling, enhanced by a peak brightness of up to 6000 nits and protection by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Performance-wise, the device is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, supported by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a maximum of 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The GT Neo 6 features a 50-megapixel primary sensor from Sony paired with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) for sharp, stable images. Additionally, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. In the front, there is a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 5G support, dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. In terms of battery, the GT Neo 6 comes with a 5500mAh battery paired with 120W SuperVOOC charging. The same is expected to be a part of the Realme GT 6T as well.
The Realme GT 6T will be available for purchase via Realme’s official website, Amazon.in, and various offline stores following its launch.
