Secret Santa Foundation recovering from last year's warehouse theft, preparing to spread Christmas gifts to families

Last Christmas, toy donations were stolen after a successful distribution day in Saskatoon. This Christmas season, community members' generosity is helping the foundation recover.

Saskatoon’s Secret Santa Foundation was abuzz with a small group of volunteers selecting and packing toys for children in its new — and for now, secret — warehouse location.

The secrecy was one of the steps taken by the foundation after its old temporary warehouse in the 600 block of 52nd Street East was the site of a break-in sometime overnight after a successful distribution day on Dec. 20, 2022.
