CCTV footage of two men released after Scots shopping centre robbery

Detectives have appealed to anybody who may recognise the two men to come forward.

CCTV images have been released of two men following a robbery at a shopping centre in Glasgow.

The incident took place at Govan Cross Shopping Centre on Govan Road at 2.30pm on Saturday July 15 last year. Officers believe the two males in the CCTV footage can assist them with their inquiries.

Police have urged anybody who may recognise the two men to come forward. The first man is described as being between 30 and 40-years-old, about 6ft in height and has a medium to heavy build.

He is also described as having a brunette beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black skip cap, black t-shirt and black shorts.

The second man is described as also being between 30 and 40-years-old, is around 6ft in height and is of an average build. He has a brunette beard, hair and wears a navy-coloured tracksuit with an orange badge.

Constable Ross Gallacher said: “We are appealing to anyone who recognises the men described, or for the men themselves, to please come forward as they may be able to assist with our ongoing investigation. If anyone has any information, please call officers at the Community Investigation Unit via 101, quoting incident number 1547 of 16 July 2023.

"Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
