US woman stabs boyfriend in eye with needle for ‘looking at other women’

by India Today World Desk · India TodayA Florida woman was arrested after her boyfriend claimed that she stabbed him in the eye with rabies needle because he was looking at other women.
The incident happened on Saturday at a home that 44-year-old Sandra Jimenez shared with her boyfriend, according to a Miami-Dade Police Department arrest affidavit, reported Fox News.
The victim called police and told them that Jimenez used their dogs' rabies needle to pierce his right eyelid during an argument about him "looking at other women".
Jimenez allegedly jumped on her boyfriend while he was lying on the couch and stabbed him with the needle before leaving their home when she "realized what she had done."
The victim was rushed to a hospital after the attack.
Jimenez was found sleeping in her car outside the home and police then arrested her. When she was questioned about the attack, Jimenez claimed that her boyfriend's injuries were "self-inflicted".
Jimenez is in custody at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on $7,500 bond, according to arrest records.
