Garda investigation launched as shots fired at Tallaght home on Sunday

Gardai have launched an investigation after reports that shots were fired at a house in Dublin on Sunday evening.

At around 9:30pm on Sunday, gardaí rushed to the scene of an incident involving a firearm at a residential property in Tallaght.

There have been no arrests and investigations are ongoing. Gardaí did not confirm if anyone was injured as a result of the terrifying incident.

A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Gardaí attended the scene of an incident involving the discharge of a firearm, which occurred at a residential location in Tallaght, Dublin 24, on Sunday 28 April at approximately 9.30pm.”

They added: “Investigations are ongoing.”
