Access to Taungwai mountain road in Mawlamyine suspended from 6 pm to 6 am

Authorities announced on December 14 that no access would be allowed on Taungwai mountain road in Zaykyo ward, Mawlamyine from 6 pm to 6 am.

According to the order, pilgrims can go on the Taungwai Mountain from 6 am to 6 pm. In the past, in the open season like this period, pilgrims used to arrive at the foot of the hill since 4:00 am. They then climb the mountain said a local of Mawlamyine.
