Coronation Street fans work out Bethany's 'hidden agenda' after secret phonecall

The daughter of Sarah Barlow made a return to the street on New Year's Eve and before seeing her family, she bumped into Daniel Osbourne.
Instead of spending the end of one year and the start of another with her loved ones, Bethany headed to her former flame's flat and it wasn't long before they were getting up close and personal once again and it was Daniel's ex-fiancee Daisy Midegely who discovered what they were up to when she paid him to visit only to be welcomed by a towel-clad Bethany.
But during Monday night's visit to the cobbles, Corrie viewers saw Bethany finally reunite with her mum before heading over the see the rest of the family - including grandmother Gail and uncle David. Gail decided they should celebrate Bethany being back from London and so headed for Speed Daal.

However, she was spotted by Daisy on the way and when Jenny Connor confirmed it was Bethany, the fact she spent the night with Daniel was blasted across the street leading to some very awkward glances - particularly when Daniel also appeared.
Later, after making up with her mum following a comment about Sarah's own love life, Bethany dashed off to have a drink with Daniel and arrived at his flat just as Daisy was trying to have a word.
In the flat, as Daniel and Bethany tucked into some wine, Daniel suggested they get some food and headed out to pick them up a kebab at Bethany's request. But as soon as Daniel was out the door, Bethany made a mystery call on her phone. She told the person on the other end that she'd hidden her number before begging them to give her another chance.
Following the scenes, Corrie fans were quick to share their predictions on social media. @penniless_poet said: "Think things are going to get more interesting as it looks like Bethany has a hidden agenda #Corrie." @Face4209Ghost asked: "Who was Bethany on the phone to?, Damon?, a different fella?, maybe even a girl? #Corrie."
@RyanTheSoapking shared: "OMG I think I could be right. Is Bethany on the phone to Damon? #Corrie." @russelltruran commented: "Is Bethany working with Damon?? #Corrie." But @1stLadyHooligan suggested: "Maybe Bethany has come back to do a story on Stephen after all. #Corrie," while @Ilovelucyfallon added: "Not sure but I think Bethany might have money issues as she said one of her new year's resolutions was to try and stay out of her overdraft and when she mentioned she could just stay in a hotel she looked quite uncomfortable like she couldn’t afford it. #Corrie."
