Karen's message to Gorka comes after she marked the end of 2023 following her reported split from her husband, Jordan Wyn-Jones, after one year of marriage. She shared a poem which read: "I thought the trauma had broken me, but really it gave my life direction.

"The toxicity made me embrace communication and honesty." In January 2023, the stars reflected on their friendship and claimed that they “hit it off” from day one. Speaking to Hello! Magazine, Gorka said: “Karen was one of the first dancers to help and support me.

“We’re from similar backgrounds, enjoy the same banter and only have to look at each other’s expressions to burst out laughing.” His fellow dancer added: “We understand each other’s abilities and strengths.

“We always try to have fun, too, and the fact that we joke around and don’t take ourselves too seriously means that we work well together.”
