Strictly Come Dancing is so close to the final and the talent on the dancefloor is immense - but none of the remaining dancers could compete with a new addition to the show. As viewers tuned in to watch the results show on Sunday night (December 10) there was a special guest on the BBC show.

The programme started as usual with a group number from the Strictly professionals. The Christmassy romance saw the professionals perform to When I Fall In Love by Nat King Cole.

Lauren Oakley was alone as she decorated her Christmas tree and watched lovers experiencing magical moments in the park from her window. She then met mystery man Graziano Di Prima and they fall in love through dance. But it was the ending of the American smooth routine that had viewers stunned.

They all held up their 10 panels for Mr Darcy - an adorable Golden Retriever who stole the dancefloor with his cuteness. Viewers loved the new addition to the show, and jokingly said he should win the BBC competition.

They took to X, formerly Twitter, to comment. Charlie wrote: "The dog should win #strictly." Meena Jutla’s Toyboy said: "We want Mr Darcy to be apart of every group routine #Strictly."
