Love Island's male professionals are queuing up to be partnered with one particular dancer - who happens to be favourite to win. Tasha Ghouri has turned heads among the male professionals on Strictly Come Dancing, with many expressing a strong desire to pair up with her for the upcoming series.

Earlier this month, the 26 year old reality TV sensation was unveiled as the sixth celebrity contestant set to grace the dance floor in September. The model and podcaster made waves as Love Island's inaugural deaf contestant when she featured in 2022.

She secured fourth place on the ITV programme alongside her boyfriend Andrew Le Page. Tasha, who boasts a solid background in dance, is poised to leverage her skills on the show. Her outstanding dance prowess has positioned her as a top contender and a favourite amongst the male professional dancers.

A source who spoke to the Sun revealed: "She has all the qualities to win the competition, making her the top pick among the male pros."

However, the show has recently found itself at the centre of controversy over allegations of fixing, with fans irate that celebrities with dance backgrounds have an unfair advantage over others. Nonetheless, Tasha addressed the backlash on social media.

She confessed that she hasn't danced in years and is accustomed to a different career, so adjusting to the new dance style on the show will be a challenge.

She wrote: "I've not danced for quite a few years, since Love Island my career is so different It's such a different dance style, I may actually not be good at it, like ballet - I'm not good at ballet. I'm trained in commercial street style it's going to be very hard but I'm excited for a challenge."

Reflecting on her upcoming role in the BBC competition, she said earlier: "Pinch me, I can't believe I'm going to be on Strictly Come Dancing. I've been watching the show since I was little it's a firm Ghouri family favourite - so this is a total dream come true."
