Holly Willoughby says 'breaking news' and announces move away from ITV
The 43-year-old will star in a new celebrity jungle-based reality show which is currently going under the name Bear Hunt alongside Bear Grylls.

The 43-year-old will star in a new celebrity jungle-based reality show which is currently going under the name Bear Hunt alongside Bear Grylls.
A source told MailOnline: “Holly was their woman for this project from the word go. They are absolutely delighted to have got her to sign on the line. Hopefully, there will be many more opportunities to work with her down the line too.”
Netflix confirmed: "Introducing Bear Hunt – this new action-packed competition show sees a group of unlikely British celebrities dropped into the Central American jungle as prey for one of the world’s most fearsome predators... @beargrylls! Hosted by @hollywilloughby – coming to Netflix in 2025. #NextOnNetflix."

"BREAKING NEWS," Holly typed on her Instagram Story, adding: "We're going on a..." Netflix UK content chief Anne Mensah told the Guardian she wanted the company’s output to be diverse and “well-loved [by] everybody, from your mum to your nextdoor neighbour”.
Unveiling the streamer’s new shows, Mensah said: “We are launching our biggest entertainment and factual slates from the UK ever.” Mensah said: “It’s about trying to make sure that everybody loves something. We’re not one tone or flavour. We’re not snobby about anybody. If you pay for Netflix there should be something for you."
“What we have to land is the quality and variety so that we sit at the heart of the UK industry," Mensah went on. In the show, Holly, a mum-of-three, will front an action-packed competition show featuring an unlikely group of British celebrities trying to survive in a jungle and evade capture by Grylls.
The series forms part of the streaming company’s launch of its highest number of entertainment and factual shows in the UK.
