Rylan Clark fans have issued him with the same demand after he kicked off the New Year with Rick Astley. The BBC Strictly Come Dancing It Takes Two star rang in the New Year with Never Gonna Give You Up star Rick on Sunday night.

During the New Year special, Rylan shocked fans by singing alongside Rick. Rylan initially shot to fame as a singer and rose to fame on ITV show The X Factor in 2012, where he finished fifth. He tweeted: "It can’t get worse than me singing you into the new year. 2024 is on the up from here.

"Happy new year x." Rick had earlier shared a picture of himself earlier in the evening seeming sat in his Essex home before partying with his mum Linda. He wrote in a caption to his fans: "New year new me and all that b*****ks. HNY."
