Liam and Noel Gallagher have released a new photo to mark their reunion

New Liam and Noel Gallagher Oasis photo sparks concern as fans spot major problem

Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have fans concerned already as they pose for a new photo to mark their huge Oasis reunion next year as they point out major detail

Noel and Liam Gallagher are going on tour together next year but questions still remain around their reunion and if they have met face to face to get their friendship back on track.

Oasis put out a photo along with their new reunion tour dates, but it was unclear if Liam and Noel had posed together or if the image was a merging of two photos. Previous reports this week suggest the pair have made up over phone calls in recent weeks, and there has been no comments regarding the new photo, taken by Simon Emmett.

Noel is a few centimetres shorter than Liam in real life, but in the image he appears to be taller than his younger brother. More importantly, the brothers are back on speaking terms and have delighted fans with news of their first tour in 16 years. Liam has been touring the UK this summer on his Definitely Maybe tour to celebrate the 30 years since its release in 1994.

Noel has been notably absent from the concerts but during a show in Cardiff, he made a point of dedicating Half The World Away to his "little brother", saying he is "still playing hard to get". Liam also played a host of Oasis hits during his headline performance at Leeds Festival on Friday night.

Fans were also surprised to hear Noel pay Liam a string of compliments in an interview released last week with music journalist John Robb at Manchester's Sifters Records in honour of the album's 30th anniversary. Reflecting on Liam's performance on a number of their hits, Noel said: "It's the delivery or the tone of his voice and the attitude.

"I don't have the same attitude as him." He also jokingly compared Liam's voice to "10 shots of tequila on a Friday night" and his as "half a Guinness on a Tuesday".

Oasis last performed together in Paris back in 2009, but we have confirmed the brothers are already talking again and their war of words lasting decades is over. During their time apart, Noel formed his High Flying Birds while Liam started with his band Beady Eye and later his solo act.

There are fears the famous siblings may not be ready to put the past behind them - despite signing up for reunion shows. According to some music insiders, the long-running feud between them has only just simmered and the only reason they're getting the band back together is for money.

A source told MailOnline : "Noel would only ever consider sharing the stage with Liam again if the money was astronomical and that's what convinced him. They haven't buried the hatchet and Noel will always have huge reservations about being in a band with Liam as he's so unpredictable - both on and off stage. Certain conditions will have to be put in place in regards to safeguarding Noel's presence in this comeback because he really can't handle Liam's form for being a liability."

They added that the pay cheque will "obviously help through any potential ordeals" and that it is "life changing" money even for the wealthy stars. It's believe the pair could take home a staggering £50 million each.
