Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have "grossed" out fans with their public displays of kissing and groping each other on the red carpet at the Emmys.

The couple, who wed in 2022, made their first red carpet appearance together since Kourtney gave birth to baby boy Rocky Thirteen in 2023. The couple, who are known for being very open with their affection, were snapped kissing passionately with tongues and licking each other in front of the paparazzi.

Whilst the loved up pair might simply be expressing their love, their antics have been called out by fans who labelled the PDA "disgusting" and "gross". Some even went as far as to feel sorry for their children as the couple continue to get passionate in front of the cameras.

Reddit users were quick to slam the display, as one user wrote: "He looks like a walking hepatitis ad". Another added: "He tries to hard to show everyone how edgy he is. Isn't he like 50?" A third shared: "I don’t mind kourtney but they’re always licking. like it’s disgusting. Stop no one needs to see that. I feel sorry for her kids". Another wrote: "Honestly this is gross but at least they are true to themselves. I don't think they are just doing this for show, they would do this anywhere. Their poor kids." A fifth commented: "Why do they always have to do these musty open mouth kisses on every red carpet it’s nasty".

However one social media user reasoned that Kourtney seemed to be enjoying the affection from Travis as they wrote: "Is it gross? Sure. But also it feels like an inside joke like they are mocking the carpet rules & like it is his way of making it more fun for her. You have to admit she is laughing and looks like she is having a blast. Personally his kissing style seems like the nightmare guy who tries to eat your face but to each their own".

The couple's over affectionate antics have also been called out as "teenage" by body language expert Jess Ponce III, the author of A.W.E.S.O.M.E., who analysed the couple's racy display on the red carpet. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Jess said: "Stepping onto the Emmy red carpet, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker owned the spotlight with their signature style. Their connection was undeniable, wrapped up in each other as always.

"Known for their PDA [public displays of affection], they lived up to expectations. With a gaze into each other's eyes (we assume Travis was looking under those dark sunglasses!), they shared a passionate kiss—definitely not just a peck on the cheek." He added: "And don't think for a second that their new baby has tamed their teenage antics. Nope, they're still all about the show and loving every moment of it!"
