Declan Donnelly and his wife Ali Astall were happy to get out of the house as they enjoyed a rare date night in London.

The couple, who share five-year-old Isla and baby Jack, were seen leaving Mayfair's Park Chinois - a high-end Chinese restaurant featuring an immersive dining experience with live shows - looking dapper in all-black outfits. Dec showed off his pearly whites as he smiled for the cameras and his wife looked equally joyful as they got into a cab after their dinner date.

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! presenter dressed up for the lavish restaurant by rocking smart trousers, a black coat and a black Louis Vuitton scarf. Ali looked chic in a £2,500 black Gucci coat over a lace blouse that featured a dramatic white collar. She also wore flared trousers and completed her outfit with Chanel earrings and a red handbag. Their date night comes after the 48-year-old TV host stunned his local pub on New Year's Eve by taking to the mic and belting out a hit by Billy Joel.

Back home up north, the star treated regulars at The Badger in Ponteland, Northumberland, to a performance of Piano Man alongside local band, The Optics. In a video shared online, punters could be seen cheering as the ITV star read the 1973 ballad's lyrics on his phone and impressively managed to reach the high notes.

Dressed in a smart blue shirt, Dec sang: "Now John at the bar is a friend of mine.. He gets me my drinks for free..." prompting onlookers to raise their glasses in support. The crowd appeared to be delighted by the return of one of the area's most famous faces following his month in the Australian jungle.

One pub-goer told the Sun: "Dec was in on New Year's Eve with his family. They seemed to be having a great time. He is such a lovely person. Exactly like he is on TV. It was a fantastic atmosphere. He comes here a lot. His sister also comes. You could actually say Dec is a regular and he often sings on New Year's Eve." Later in the evening, Dec headed back to the three-bedroom home of his mum, Annie, where he grew up with his six siblings.

In early December, Dec reunited with his wife and kids after spending several weeks in Australia filming I'm A Celeb with his trusty hosting partner, Ant McPartlin. They had been in the Queensland jungle for nearly a full month and had been unable to spend quality time with their beloved families.
