I'm A Celebrity viewers have seemingly turned on Fred Sirieix after they rumbled his 'game plan' on the ITV jungle show ahead of its final week

I'm A Celebrity fans have rumbled Fred Sirieix's 'game plan' - and have turned on him as a result.

Fred was one of the most well known names entering the jungle this year, but recently he has been finding himself facing the wrath of the fans watching in from the home over the cooking. He has been adamant to tell Josie Gibson what to do after he was axed as camp chef and instead put on pot wash, whilst the This Morning star took over at the campfire.

On tonight's episode, Fred volunteered to do the trial. Speaking to the campmates, Fred said: "I will go. I will go. Because I haven’t done one yet. So, I’m going," with Tony adding in response: "Let’s just take our time and everyone have a little say of why they think they should do it before we just jump in and rush off. Chill out Freds."

However, the maitre'd was adamant: "I’m going to go. I want to go because I want to go and do my best to bring the stars, to bring stars back for you. If everybody agrees that I’m going, then we’re done," before adding: "This camp has all been equal… it’s only fair I go. If you want me to go, just say. Can you vote for me? Thank you. I am delighted."

It didn't seem to go down well with the others, with Nick saying: "I don’t think Fred was having anyone else do it today. From his perspective it’s like he’s not done anything. But doing the Trials is your way of really contributing to the group," whilst Marvin - who was also up for doing a trial - added: "I was definitely up for doing it, but we just want to eat. Whoever is up for doing them should just crack on and do them. So yeah, the French man has spoken."

Now fans have turned on Fred - and accused him of having a game plan to get more screen time. "I knew Fred was p***ed about not being chosen for the trial yesterday. He’s desperate to get some more screen time, especially as he’s not camp chef. #ImACeleb," one wrote, as a second added: "i honestly think fred is worried about getting voted off, frankie left bc of not having screen time and i think he’s worried #ImACeleb." A third penned: "Fred gunning for that twenty five per cent of screen time #Imaceleb," with a fourth sharing: "I HATE FRED SO MUCH GET THIS MAN OFF MY SCREEN #ImACeleb."
