Naked Attraction's Anna Richardson has shared some insights about her new boyfriend and how dating men is 'more simple' after her break-up with Sue Perkins.

The 53-year-old TV star has been seeing a 'lovely man' for the past year and a half, whom she met through a friend.

Anna said: "So, my rule of thumb is that men are quite simple creatures. It's basically a case of feed them, football, make sure they're happy. Whereas women, we're complex creatures and the dynamic is a lot more emotional. But they're both so satisfying. I'm just happy to be in a good relationship."

When asked if she would like to get married, she replied: "I've never been married and I have to say, I would love it. So all I can say, is I'm waiting for someone... someone to say the words", reports OK!.

Anna's new romance follows her painful split from fellow TV star and comedian Sue in 2020, after eight years together. Despite the heartbreak, they remain close friends and still 'love each other'. Anna explained: "We're still very good friends, so it's all good."

Talking about staying just friends when they have a big past, she shared: "I mean, we really adore each other, but I think when you've been through a lot together, I think there's the respect there just to kind of say, do you know what, this is where we're at, let's protect that and respect each other. We love each other and it's great."

Anna first told everyone she was in a new relationship in 2022 when she talked about her "love language". She said to The Mirror: "It's all about communication and rapport, and understanding the other person enough that [you know what] it is that they need for you.

"For example, this morning - I'm dating, I've got a boyfriend - and already my boyfriend has said to me 'I haven't spent enough time with you', so his love language is time - he needs my time to feel loved." Anna added that there are five ways to show love and kept going: "Whereas I like to receive texts saying [something like] 'I'm thinking about you and I love you'. So people need to be aware of how their partner does their love language."
