A Strictly Come Dancing legend has promised to return to the BBC show but has issued one major condition to bosses.

Ola Jordan is a well known name when it comes to the dancing competition - joining back in 2006. However, she called time on her time on the show in 2015 but it looks like she isn't ruling out returning.

Ola took to Twitter to respond to a message from Piers Morgan who also said he would be up for giving Strictly a go. He said: "Memo to Strictly Come Dancing execs: given the snowflake virus is now threatening your sparkly show’s existence, I’m prepared to save the day by being a contestant but only on one condition: that whoever trains me is so tough, brutal and uncompromising that I win."

While Ola responded: "OMG - Just seen this!!! Well @piersmorgan … I never thought I’d say it but I’d be willing to make a comeback to Strictly BUT just for you!! #MyDreamStrictlyPartner."

Pier's tweet is in response to the recent scandal which has taken on the show, regarding how some professionals treat celebrity contestants in training. Amanda Abbington recently spoke out about her experience on the show with Giovanni Pernice.

The actress dropped out of the BBC competition after being partnered with Giovanni, with her since saying that she felt "abandoned" by BBC bosses, with her now speaking out in her first interviews. Amanda told Channel 4 news this week: "It's been brutal, and relentless and unforgiving. The aftermath has been something that I wasn't expecting."

Amanda spoke to Krishnan Guru-Murthy where she said that she isn't the only celebrity partner who has spoken about Giovanni's behaviour. She said: "I know a lot of people went in to speak to them. I’m the official complainer. I think there’s about five or six (other complainants) from what I can gather, but there’s three main people, who’ve made complaints, mine’s the official one."

Amanda suggested that the BBC and Giovanni were blocking her from seeing 50 hours of footage saying Giovanni "doesn't want anyone to see". The actress claimed the footage was from video cameras she alleges were installed after she raised concerns. Giovanni has denied any accusations.

A spokesperson for Giovanni said: "We are cooperating fully with the BBC’s review process. All parties have been asked to respect this process and to not speak to the media before it concludes. We will continue to respect the integrity of the investigation and believe it is the right forum for all the evidence to be reviewed.

"As part of the evidence-led review, the BBC has shared the allegations and there are none, nor any evidence, that resemble Amanda Abbington’s numerous and variable allegations. Giovanni refutes any claim of threatening or abusive behaviour, and having provided the BBC with his evidence, is confident that the review will prove this."
