BBC Radio One star Jamie Laing leaves fans gutted as he quits podcast show after seven years

Fans are devastated as Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing has announced that they have made the decision to stop hosting their Private Parts podcast for BBC Radio One

There has been disappointment among fans of Private Parts podcast on after host Jamie Laing announced that he has hosted his last episode.

The 35-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing and Made In Chelsea star shared the news with his fans in a video he posted on Instagram, in which he revealed that he has decided to stop hosting the podcast he started in 2017. The emotional video was captioned by the reality star: "Dear Listeners and Esteemed Guests, for the past seven years, 'Private Parts' has been more than just a podcast; it has been a journey filled with laughter, insights, and unforgettable conversations.

"To our loyal listeners, your support has been the backbone of this adventure. Each episode was a labour of love, fuelled by your engagement and enthusiasm. You welcomed us into your lives, shared your time, and became a part of this incredible community. For that, I am eternally grateful. To our distinguished guests, your willingness to share your stories, experiences, and private parts of your lives added depth and authenticity to our show."

Jamie continued on the video, saying: "You brought diverse perspectives, wisdom, and humour, enriching every conversation. Your contributions have been invaluable, and for that, I extend my heartfelt thanks. This podcast has been a significant chapter in my life and the things I have learnt have been incredible - Thank you for being part of this remarkable journey. Here's to all the private parts we've shared and to the new adventures that lie ahead. Watch the Podcasting Space!!!"

There was an outpouring of grief at the ending of the popular podcast, with many commenting on it finishing. One fan wrote in the comments: "whyyyyy?? I’ve listened to every episode. You got me into podcasts and you taught me so much - still learning how to cope with my mental health."

Meanwhile another commented: "The first podcast I ever listened to , you kept me company while I did my night feeds when I had my first baby who is now 7! You made me laugh on sad and happy days! You will be missed."

There is some good news for fans of Jamie as he will continue to host 6 Degrees from Jamie and Spencer, alongside his former Made In Chelsea co-star Spencer Matthews, which is also available on BBC Radio One.
