Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly has emotionally declared her love for her real-life partner who also once appeared in the Dales. The actress is very much loved-up with fellow actor Ian Kelsey.

Fans of the ITV soap may know that he previously played Dave Glover in Emmerdale. He and Beth, who joined the show in January as Ruby Fox-Milligan, have been in a relationship for three years.

Beth previously said that the former soap star was ‘really supportive’ when she landed the role and that he "wanted" her to do it. "There is that thing as an actor where you are always taken away from home," she said. "But he totally gets it. He knows a lot of the crew and cast and so it’s lovely to be able to share what I’ve been up to, knowing he understands.

"That’s important when you are away and he is always keen to find out how filming has gone each day. We are both very supportive of each other’s careers which is important when it is such a competitive industry." Beth and Ian, who have known each other for over two decades, added to The Mirror: "I am very in love with Ian and very happy."

Now, Beth has taken to social media and shared a FaceTime snap of the couple. It showed Ian smiling into the camera at the forefront of the post while Beth could be seen beaming in the corner as they made sure to catch up with one another while apart.

Beth, 47, gushed alongside the post: "I love you on tour. I love you at home. I love you away. I love you here. You are the stuff dreams are made of. Thank god I found you. #stillcantbelieveyourereal..."

She continued: "(I know this is [sick face emoji] . Soz, dudes. I shout this s**t from the rooftops nowadays and – if it backfires on me – SO BE IT, I won’t be ashamed. I had a good time on the way. I’m done with being quiet and careful. I don’t care. #lifeistooshort).

"It’s taken me 47 years to get here. And some amazing people in my life with everyday a school day. Stay open. Own your mistakes. WE ALL MAKE THEM. I MAKE HUNDREDS EVERY DAY. Proper CRINGE ONES. So. LEARN. Life IS a marathon not a sprint. Seatbelt on. There will be time."

Beth then concluded her emotional post: "Thought for the day: The good ones do exist. Keep your eyes open. And when you find them – it’s terrifying, I KNOW. But be brave and reach out your hand and don’t let go. #trustyouareenough#youareworthy#loveyourself please. @iankelseyofficial I love you. Thank you for being amazing."
