Apartment 404, starring Yoo Jae-suk and Blackpink's Jennie, to premiere on Prime Video in Singapore on Feb 23

The show centres around six residents who have to solve a different mystery in their apartment building every episode.

Blinks (fans of K-pop group Blackpink) who want to see Jennie back on TV screens won't have to wait much longer. The megastar is one of the main cast members of the upcoming Apartment 404 – a new South Korean variety show by tvN. The show will premiere in Singapore this Friday (Feb 23) on the streaming platform Prime Video, with new episodes released weekly every Friday.

Comprising eight episodes, Apartment 404 centres around six residents of an apartment building who have to solve a different mystery that's based on true events each week. The remaining cast members are familiar faces in South Korea's entertainment scene and include:

  • Yoo Jae-suk, South Korea's top MC and cast member of Running Man
  • Cha Tae-hyun, actor-singer and former cast member of 2 Days & 1 Night
  • Lee Jung-ha, actor 
  • Oh Na-ra, actress and cast member of Sixth Sense
  • Yang Se-chan, comedian and cast member of Running Man

The six cast members will split up into two teams, along with special guests, and compete against each other. At the end of the series, one person will be crowned the winner of the show.

The main producer of Apartment 404 is Jung Chul-min who has previously worked on Running Man and Sixth Sense.

Apartment 404 will also mark the first time Yoo and Cha appear as main cast members on the same show, further adding to its anticipation.
