West Lothian couple's dazzling lights display for local charity
Gary and Anna Gray are wowing locals with their light display to raise money for The Shed
by Debbie Hall, https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/authors/debbie-hall/ · Daily RecordA West Lothian couple are helping to spread a little light this Christmas while raising money for a local good cause.
Gary and Anna Gray have transformed their home at Hamilton Gardens in Armadale into a winter wonderland and perform an eye-popping lightshow to raise money for The Shed Armadale.
The Shed’s premises was gutted earlier this year by fire and Gary and Anna have set a target of raising £2000 to help members rebuild.
Gary explained: “We started this initially as something fun us and our neighbours to enjoy during lockdown where we could all stand outside, and its grown a bit since then.
“It now has 23,500 LED lights and it’s a half hour musical animated show where the lights dance to the music.
“The shows are open to the public and the ones are this week on Thursday, Fridays, Saturday and on Christmas Eve at 6.30pm. Full details are on our Facebook page.
“We’re attempting to raise £2000 for Armadale Shed to help them reopen from their fire earlier in the year.
“Also we have a card reader at our donation station where you can do contactless donations of £3.
“And one wee reminder we recommend parking at Armadale train station. We do not have any parking space nearby and we will kindly ask you to repark if you do arrive on the street. We haven't had any issues so far so would be nice to keep it that way!”
